PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: PREBOND-220 is a high-performance, single-component, ready-to-use unique silicone-modified PU polymer and nano-zinc pigment-based acid, alkali and corrosion resistant DTM (direct to metal) paint. It is a great replacement for two-pack epoxy, enamel or rubber paints for acid, alkali and corrosion resistance. After application, it provides excellent corrosion protection in highly-corrosive & acidic/alkaline-environments.

PREBOND-220 is a single-component PU coating that eliminates the need for mixing two- components in a specific proper ratio that reducing the paint wastages and ensuring a hassle-free application process.

APPLICATIONS:It is preferred a great choice to protect and preserve expensive industrial structures, shades, pipelines, machinery, beams, channel, purlin, tank, pipe-rack, crane, pump, valve, gratings, cooling tower, staircase, ETP, duct collector, transmission tower, solar panels, RCC wall, acid pickling, hot-dip galvanizing & marine areas etc.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE & OTHER DETAILS:

Mixing Container	PREBOND-220 supplied in single separate container (ready to use form).
Mixing Method	Always stir/shake well before use.
Method of Application	Normal brush, roller, air spray, airless spray etc.
Surface Preparation	Clean the surface well by using wire-brush or sand-paper & cotton.
Thinner	Use PREBOND-084 or other PU thinner (05-10% per liter when require).
Recommend Coats	Always apply 02 coats for better result (in difference 06-12 hours-time).
Required DFT	Maintain minimum 100-micron DFT (Dry film thickness), for better result.
For Rusted Metal Surface	Use PREBOND-58 (Anti Rust Chemical), 01 coat for better results.
Self-life	12 months in air-tight containers.
Coverage area	07 to 08 Sq. Mtr. area in per liter 01 coat.
Packing & Storage	04 & 20 liters in printed mild steel drum.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE TEST RESULTS:

Acid Fumes Resistance	Excellent resistance to 10-35% dilute HCl, HNO3, H2SO4 & H3PO4.
Alkali Fumes Resistance	Excellent resistance to 10-35% dilute NaOH, Na2CO3 & NH3.
Salt and Chlorine Fumes Resistance	Excellent resistance to salt (NaCl) & chlorine gas fumes.
Hydrochloric Acid Immersion Test	No flaking of adhesion at 30% HCL (Hydrochloric Acid) solution for 48* hours & the color of paint did not change and no metal weight loss.
